Daily Kos Radio is LIVE at 9AM ET!

OK, so, the whole Trump-Russia thing is over. Turns out that Republicans say nothing happened.

Oh, well!

So that clears up some time in our schedule, just in time for our second hour look at everything you ever wanted to know about Super Delegates and caucuses, when Armando and Daily Kos’ Chris Reeves join KITM for a discussion of 2020 Democratic Presidential nomination rules!

Listen right here at 9:00 AM ET!

PODCAST LISTENERS: There’s a new podcast platform in town, and the big news is: this one pays! RadioPublic pays podcast producers on a CPM basis, for listens on their native app (available for iPhones & Androids), financed by pre- and post-roll ads they insert. Not a bad way to support the show, with somebody else’s money!

So if you’re a podcast listener, please consider dowloading the RadioPublic app on your Android or iOS phone. Yes, you can still download directly from their site, or listen to the player embedded here at Daily Kos. But it’s listens in their app that count toward payment.

Nothing changes on our end. It’s still Greg Dworkin, Joan McCarter, and even Armando. Plus also, me. And you! As always, we still want your voice on the air with us. Sit down with your smart phone or other electronic recording device and send us your stories and commentary to share with the audience. There’s no easier way to try your hand at podcasting, without all the hassle!

Of course there’s no substitute for having your support via Patreon, or one-time contributions via Square Cash. (And hey, if you want a cool trick for donating sorta-kinda cost free, get their app and use this share code to get $ 5 in your account (plus $ 5 in mine) when you send your first $ 5 (to anyone)!

For now, how about one on the house? Here’s what we did last time out, on our LIVE show:

Saving some daylight? Stock up now, you never know when you might need some. David Waldman catches us up from the weekend. Donald Trump said the usual awful, stupid and self-centered stuff, which ends up being the least chaotic thing he could do. Betsy DeVos wore her dunce cap on 60 Minutes. It fit her well, as it had been in the family for decades. DeVos heads back to Washington to mishandle school gun violence. As usual Trump excels at finding the exact mishandler for the job. The pediatrician that treated the Columbine Kids speaks out. Greg Dworkin is a pediatrician from Newtown and has spoken out, as have others who have seen firsthand the damage these guns can do. Greg tells us about the chaos to come, if we have any brain cells left to handle it. Ivanka Trump never cut ties with the Trump Organization, and that turned out to be a problem. Robert Mueller’s obstruction of justice case against Donald Trump will wrap soon because, duh, who doesn’t know Trump’s guilty on that one? Why do racist, homophobic, xenophobic, misogynistic authoritarian Evangelical Christians stick with Trump, other than being racist, homophobic, xenophobic, misogynistic and authoritarian? Republicans thank the Lord and the New York Times for conservative columnists. It would be hard to look in the mirror without that thick layer of false principal-based intellectualism coating. Is YouTube a gateway to radicalization? Yes, and that is by design, although it is turning out to be a bug not a feature.

(Thanks to Scott Anderson for the show summary! Please help me pay him more!)
